This really resonated, Sara. I love the idea of beige hotels as neutral backdrops for connection, not the point but the container. Sometimes happiness shows up quietly in those in between spaces.

What I like about these mid range hotels is that they are reliable and consistent. You get exactly what you are paying for each time. Similar to a McDonalds hamburger, it is always consistent and good.

I really appreciate this. Not as "culturally prestigious" is a great way to phrase it. And the anonymous element is interesting too. Something to think about in future pieces. Thanks for reading!
